Summer Learning Journey: Fishy False Teeth

Summer Learning Journey: Fishy False Teeth

For this activity: we had to watch a video called teeth, two elderly men were fishing and then one had lost their dentures while the other laughed, he thought of pranking the person who had lost their dentures thinking he had found them inside a fish's mouth.

  1. Kia Ora Zoe,

I really like your comment! I think you tell a compelling story and match the captions to the facial expression nicely! I also really like how you’ve added in movements and actions using asterisks. Ka pai!

It’s always important to remember, when you do a prank things can go wrong and in this case, the man might not get his teeth back!

Because you’ve written such a great comic strip, I was wondering, if you could write a comic on absolutely anything, what would you write about? I think I’d write about space adventures and rocket ships, not fishy teeth, though it is pretty funny.

Keep up the great work! Happy blogging.

    Ka kite anō,

    1. Thank you so much Shannon! I, myself also had a similar encounter to this one. I've also had a bit of experience on comic strips, I mostly like making my own comics, I like to make Japanese styled comics called manga.

If I could write a comic of anything I want I would write an action-packed, adventure-fiction and a historical comic of my own.

    2. Kia ora Zoe!

      What was your similar experience?

You make manga comics! That’s so cool! You should post one to your blog, I’d love to see it and if it’s anything like this one, your readers will enjoy!

Those would be super cool comics! Who would your protagonist be?

      Have a great day!
