Kia ora everyone, last term we have been writing a storyboard about Manaakintanga/ are stop motion story.

In a year that the world was a hopeless, negative place were everybody was never thought of love.
A little girl was thought that the world would never change and it would always stay the same, dark, gloomy
and miserable, but she wanted to change that so did her brother this is a story about a little girl who wanted to change
the world…

Hi! My name is Manakintanga but everybody calls me kit for short, I also have a brother called Haru…..
Sorry it’s really cold right now even though it’s spring and there are flowers everywhere and brown trees
wait i’m suppose to tell you a story try not to get distracted ok..., “ahem ahem”
I am going to tell you a story of how I changed the world into a happy, bright, caring and lovable world.
It all started when I was a little girl, I lived in a village called Phoenix Drop, I always wondered why people
were never Happy or excited but I was never keen to ask anyone since I was scared that they would ask me
why I was so curious to know so I never asked anyone or mentioned it once. Everytime I walked outside our house
I would always see hatred, despair and caringless...finally one day I stood up and walked to my Mother and asked her “
Why was everyone never happy nor loved? What’s going on?”. She ignored me and walked away like nothing happened,
I was so confused why she wouldn’t tell me the reason why?
. I tried asking other people the same question but everybody did the same thing....

what was the activity? The activity was a problem that we had to solve using strategy's.

What strategy did your group try? My group used the Column Addition strategy.

what did you find challenging? I found it really challenging trying to work out a problem that has 3 parts to a problem and having the same equation but different answers.

How well did your group work together? were you successful? I would say that our group was ok half of the session some of our teammates were talking about different stuff but then the other half of the session they started to help us solve the problem. I think we were half successful since we solved the first part of the Problem.

• What genre (type) of story do you think this is? ex) romance, thriller etc. Why do you think that? What clues can you see?  I think this books genre is probably adventure, mystery.

What effect is this having  on climate change.

( 4 sentences)

Acidification means the process of  making something very acidic. Deforestation means an action of clearing a wide area of trees. Water Vapour is water in its gaseous state-instead of liquid or solid (ice). Ice Melt When the ice melts, the dark ocean surface that takes its place absorbs most of the incoming solar energy, causing the seas to get warmer and more ice to melt.

What effect is this having on Climate change ?

Ocean acidification is occurring because too much carbon dioxide is being released into the atmosphere.Many factors contribute to rising levels. the burning of fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas for human industry is one of the major causes of Climate changes. Dumping greenhouse gases into the atmosphere makes the atmosphere more humid. And since water vapour is itself a greenhouse gas.

For the last term we have been doing our own Drawing for a our own Stop motion movie using Clay or White board, me and my group choose to make our stop motion on a White board we started to redraw our drawings on our plan but we couldn't download Stop motion in our Chromebook so we waited for our technician to fix that so we could download Stop Motion on our Chromebook. Before we could download the Stop motion app on our Chromebook we tried to finish our Plan for our Stop motion but some of us didn't. After that We did another plan for our Storyboard Writing, We had to highlight the words that had a part to Who, What, Where, Why and How. I don't really remember what the color's were.

Today we are working on our Stop motion since the technician fixed the problem me and my partner Ella, one of my team mates were missing her is Nychachia have been drawing for the whole period 4 and we almost finished our drawing but we ran out of time. 

I can't wait to finish our Stop motion and Watch our drawings move. Have you ever done a Stop motion?

Hello, For the past weeks in term 2 we have been doing some projects that involve with kindness.

Singing Passion
For the passions we get to pick, I picked Singing since I love singing but I am very shy to sing in front of people. Singing is really fun we got to sing different songs that we never knew of and sing the songs we loved.

Passions I suggest
I don't really have any suggestions of any passions I want I'm happy of the passions that we have.
