Tip 1: If you are under 5 or 8 make sure to always be with an adult while being in the water.

Tip 2: You must always enter the water using your feet.

Tip 3: Do not play “Who can hold their breaths longest in the water”  games.

Tip 4:  Do not force yourself to do some tricks in the water.

Tip 5:  If you feel unsafe in an area of the pool, go in a particular spot in the pool where you feel safe.

Tip 6: Do not bring any sort of food and any hazardous thing in the pool.

Tip 7: Do not run around the outside of the pool.

Tip 8: If you feel unsafe(of a person or something) stick to an area where the lifeguard is or stick with your family.

 

Egg Drop Experiment.

Today, in Science we did an experiment using eggs called "The Egg drop experiment", we had to build something around that would protect the egg. technically a parachute, our experiment was sadly unsuccessful. We used too many supplies on making the parachute and used fewer supplies on the actual egg.

The reason why the egg cracked was because the egg wasn't properly attached to the parachute and the egg didn't also have that much protection, the only protection it had was foam squares, wood, Rubberbands and Tissues.

The egg had nothing on top since we ran out of supplies, so I think that's the reason why it cracked.

The supplies we used for the experiments were Bamboo sticks, Rubberbands, Tissues, Popsicle sticks, Foam Squares and a piece of a rubbish bag(used for the parachute).

Maybe next time if we do this experiment again we could use more supplies on the actual protection for the egg and use fewer supplies on the parachute design. The best part of our structure was the protection of the outside/the parachute.

Gravity

Is gravity the same in all the planets of our Solar system, well allow me to say, No. Gravity is different on every single planet.

How is gravity related to mass? An object/planet with more mass will have more gravity, it basically all depends on the mass of the planet which will reveal if that planet has a lot of gravity.

My weight in different planets would be: 

Mercury = 10.10
Venus = 26.4
Mars = 10.10
Jupiter = 67.9
Saturn = 26.10
Uranus = 26.7
Neptune = 32.5

Mars 2020 Mission

Have you ever wondered what Mars is like? Or even wondered in the future if you would like to investigate Mars? Well, you’ve come to the right place!

NASA’s new mission, the  2020 mission Perseverance Rover was launched in late July 2020 and is currently still in space heading to Mars and will be expected to land in early February 2021, Jezero Crater.

The rover, “Perseverance” mission is to find/look for clues of ancient life in Mars, maybe these clues might help scientist to understand the history of Mars. maybe back in the past Mars was once a  livable planet that had somehow changed.

Another thing that NASA had sent to Mars along with the Perseverance robot was a helicopter, called Ingenuity. Although Ingenuity is just an experiment to see if it can fly through Mars thin atmosphere. It would be fascinating to see Mars landscape.

Mars is a very interesting planet for scientists to research. Maybe next year we might discover a lot of new interesting things on Mars.

Last week on drama we were working on freeze-frames and learnt 4 important keys that must be included when doing the freeze frame, the 4 things that must be included are, Levels, Expressions, Spacial Relationship and Gestures.

4 Important Keys:

Levels, The levels are like the height difference, for example, one person is laying on the floor while the other is standing still and the rest might be sitting down.

Expressions, The Expression are really important when doing freeze-frames, you're basically showing the emotions that match/mix with the gestures/actions that you are making.

Spacial Relationship, The spacial relationships are basically the distance between the people, it also sometimes show what's happening in the frame, for example, two people are sitting together while the other might be in a large distance between the three which is called spacial relationship.

Gestures, The gestures are the actions that match with the expressions you are making and also basically shows the storyline.

This freeze-frame that we created was a bullying scene where three of us were purposely talking behind her back(loudly)  while the other was being left out and could hear us.

1. What rocket did the perseverance use to get into space? The rocket perseverance used to fly to space was called Atlas V.

2. Describe the two vehicles that are being taken to Mars. The two vehicles( a rover and a helicopter) that are being taken to Mars are more finely detailed than before all the rovers that were sent in the past and will also have new adjustments(tools). One of the tools are called PIXL, will use x-ray spectrometry will try do detect chemical elements.

3. Where does the mission plan to land on Mars? What are they looking for? NASA plans to land on Jezero Crater. They’re looking for alien life and ancient past.
